




Chief Executive Officer
Russel has over 35 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, who started his career at ExxonMobile in various technical and managerial positions. From 2008, he served as CEO of Dominion Gas, where he set up business units in Ghana and led the business through its successful sale to Praxair Inc. He joined Ramco in 2017 as CEO and is responsible for setting the strategic direction and overall management of the business, including expansion into new regions.
Chief Financial Officer
Stephen is a chartered accountant who started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC). He then worked as a finance controller in the construction industry, before moving on to management roles within the oil and gas industry, working at Darcy Technologies Ltd and Halliburton before joining Ramco.
Operations Director
Zak joined Ramco in 2015, bringing more than 25 years’ experience to the company. Zak’s role involves managing, at both the strategic and operational level, the company’s key frontline functions. Prior to joining Ramco, Zak has worked in roles including Logistics and Operations Director at ASCO, Area Head of Oil and Gas at Panalpina and General Manager of Added Value Services at Vallourec.
Business Development Director
Rob has more than 25 years of upstream oil and gas experience with over 15 years working directly in the OCTG market. Rob has a proven track record in developing the company’s international footprint, opening new markets and identifying strategic growth opportunities. Prior to joining Ramco, Rob has worked with Hydril (Tenaris), Workstrings International and TWMA.
Managing Director - Norway
Arild has an education in economics from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. Arild has worked at Ramco for 27 years, starting in a quality control position before moving to management and latterly Managing Director of Ramco Norway AS. He has been leading the Norway branch since 2002.
HSEQ Manager
Since graduating from Aberdeen University with a Bachelor of Law in 2003 Julie has gained varied HSEQ experience within the construction, oil and gas and public sector. Having supported Ramco for 18 months through HSEQ consultancy company Quensh, Julie joined the organisation in mid-2018. Julie is a member of IOSH and holds the NEBOSH Diploma qualification.
HR Manager
Karen graduated from Robert Gordon University in 2001 with her CIPD qualification and an honours degree in Public Policy and Management. Her experience includes working within the manufacturing, oil and gas and public sectors. She supported Ramco as Interim HR manager with Hunter Adams, before joining the team on a permanent basis in January 2019.
Finance Director
Niall is a chartered accountant with over 14 years’ experience in accounting firms, predominately in auditing. Prior to joining Ramco, Niall worked at Deloitte for 3 years as a senior manager, looking after owner managed and private equity backed businesses. He joined Ramco in 2013.
Maintenance Manager
Ally is a mechanical engineer to trade, starting at Silverdale Coaches. Following that, Ally joined Ramco and has been involved in the building and installation of Ramco equipment worldwide and is now an integral part of the management team.
Operations and Inspection Manager, Norway
Audun Hammerseth started his career in the construction industry as a concrete worker for 13 years before joining Ramco Florø in April 1992. Audun started his Ramco career working as an operator, then moved through roles as a blaster, charge hand, production supervisor and in 2008 was appointed as Operation Manager at the Florø, Sandnessjøen and Hammerfest sites in Norway.
Sales and Marketing Manager
John joined Ramco in 2019 as a Sales and Marketing Manager. He is an experienced Regional Business Development Manager with a demonstrated history within the oil and gas industry, particularly in oilfield rental/sales and pipe care management. John has a proven track record working in the UKCS, USA, Caspian, Canada, Middle East and European markets.
Operations Manager
Riann joined Ramco in 2002 after a career working for one of South Africa’s largest banks. Riann started in finance and business support for plant operations, before working his way into a management position. He then transferred to the logistics and operational side of the business in 2018.
Contracts and Commercial Manager
Bruce served an apprenticeship with British Rail in Aberdeen as a signalling and telecommunications engineer, before moving to London to take up roles in estimating and bid management with Racal PLC. After completing a law degree, he moved into a senior commercial manager role with Thales UK. Bruce relocated back to Aberdeen after 18 years in London, taking on various roles prior to joining Ramco in 2019.
